Meet The Founder

Meet Jon McGrath

Founder, Chiltern Surface Co

Before launching Chiltern Surface Co, Jon McGrath spent many years working in the television industry as a Director of Photography, where attention to detail, organisation, reliability, and problem-solving were essential every day.

Those same standards now shape the way the company approaches exterior surface care across Buckinghamshire.

Although Chiltern Surface Co is a modern business, it has been built on years of professional experience, careful planning, and a clear understanding of what good service should feel like.

The aim was simple: to create a company homeowners could genuinely trust — one that communicates clearly, turns up when it says it will, works carefully, and treats every property with respect.

From patios and driveways to roof cleaning and soft wash treatments, every project is approached with professionalism, care, and long-term results in mind.

For Jon, the reputation of the company matters deeply. His name is behind the business, his standards shape the work, and every property is treated with the same level of care he would expect at his own home.
